Sonartron Limited has been established since 1991, specializing in deep-sea and underwater trawl monitoring and fish finding equipment, as well as sales, service and installation of marine electronics. We operate from Killybegs under the leadership of James Sweeney. The business has grown due to our committment to customer care and we are now main suppliers for major brands of marine electronic equipment in Ireland.

Going from strength to strength, Sonartron has built a solid customer base, being world renowned for an excellent, swift and reliable service 24 hours a day 7 days a week having also supplied and fitted 90% of the pelagic new buildings, that have been delivered this year.

Sonartron are agents for Kaijo Denki long-range sonar's, Comnav Autopilots, Wesmar trawl sonar's, JRC's excellent range of sounders and radars plus Skanti/Sailor marine equipment. Sodena PC based chart navigation plotters, plus the Marport catch sensors, and door spread systems, which have proved themselves to be invaluable to the fishing fleet and that's just to name a few of the agencies we have.
