Your vessel can now be fitted out with a high quaility, high performance , robust , but new low cost system which is typeapproved by BABT and BSH.
The following infomation can be transmitted and received :
- Automatic Transmission of own ship name, position, course and speed.
- Automation reception of information from all other vessels equipped with any brand of AIS.
- Can be outputted to any PC/Chartplotter/ECDIS that can accept AIS information for easy presentation and tracking of other vessels.
The Following information can be transmitted if so selected by installation engineer and/or user :
- Vessel Name.
- Vessel Type and Size.
- MMSI Number.
- Call Sign.
- Position.
- Course.
- Speed.
Various LED light on the face of unit, tell you if unit is in a state of receive and/or transmit, along with power and health LED's. Also the unit has a single dedicated buttin which is configuratable for sending safety related single burst message ( SRM ) or to pause transmission of own AIS Data. For in harbour use only
This unit comes complete with a GPS antenna as standard. no VHF antenna is included
