Sonartron and Wesmar lead the way in fish detection !

Sonartron Limited is proud to announce the release of two new net sonar systems in conjunction with Wesmar.
Both Wesmar and Sonartron limited have had much lived success with the TCS770 net sonar system, having installed them on a world wide spectrum, however as with any technology underwater detection moves with blistering speed, and Wesmar and Sonartron will once again set the standard for the competition to follow.

The TCS780 has some astounding and rather ingenious features that make it an attractive, cost effective and sensible buy for your vessel, be it either in a new installation or upgrade from the original TCS770/TCS335 systems.

TCS780 New Features: New sensors that display the current direction trawl speed and flow in relation to the headrope unit.
A new sensor the INS 85 has also been developed to work in conjunction with the TCS780 that displays the inner net speed of the trawl, efficiently telling the captain, any change in the flow of the water inside the trawl net. Some of the same fantastic features have been persevered from the TCS770 in the new TCS780 including the forward scan, and split screen utility allowing the captain to select either forward scan and down sounder, forward scan and profile or profile and down sounder.
This new net sonar using the fantastic pistol grip controller providing ease of use and accuracy in the palm of your hand.

What will interest existing TCS770 customers is the fact that this new wheelhouse electronics package will work with your TCS770, allowing the captain to have most of the new benefits without having to change, sleds. Or if the captain prefers this new wheelhouse package will also operate the 345 and 335 smaller sleds.

Some of these features are the pistol grip controller, a new tow timer can be displayed on the screen, and the catch sensors now have an audible alarm allowing the captain to concentrate on the other aspects while fishing. The software has been improved vastly so that now the screen updates faster and more efficiently. A larger 220-degree profile sector is also available in the split screen.

For the vessels that require all the features of the TCS780, without the forward scanner, is the new TCS380 sled, which is much more lightweight but still has all the amazing new features, including temp and depth sensors!
